How can I rent a movie without creating an account?
Users have the possibility to rent a movie on television devices without creating an account on Rakuten TV. Here is how to do so:
1. Select the movie you want to rent. Select “Continue as a guest” if you are not willing to create an account.
2. You can continue on TV or switch to your mobile phone to complete the process and come back to TV. After adding a payment method and paying you will be able to watch the content only on the television device where you started the process in the “My Library” menu.
What if I rent as a guest and I would like to receive a receipt?
If you rent as a guest and you would like to receive a receipt of your payment you only need to switch to Settings on the television device where you finalized the process:
You just need to choose “Get your transaction history”, enter an email address and receive the receipt.
What if I rent a movie as a guest but I face an issue during my rental?
If you rent as a guest and you face an issue, we recommend you navigate to the Settings on the television device where you are completing the process and look for a Guest ID on the bottom of the page. Contact us with this ID included in your email and we will sort the problem out.
